Hi, I’m Kushal Adak — A bit of everything: product, strategy, automation, interaction design, user-success, engineering, talent acquisition.
I'm the Founder, CEO of Aptoro, Delaware. Being passionate about productivity, my team and I have been investing all our talents, time and energy in building Aptoro that aims at providing a fast, engaging and intelligent platform to manage projects, tasks & teams.
I am also the "Decider" at Accugile Technologies where we collaborate with some of the brightest companies, from start-ups to multi-national companies, on building scalable web-products with user experiences that are well researched and thoughtfully designed.
I also actively enjoy mentoring small and early stage companies on tech startup product development and design practices.
Generally, I do what I love, things that make me happy and passionate about what I do. Love bringing new concepts to life, creating products that solve real and pressing problems, experiences that delight consumers. As long as a problem is convoluted and technically stimulating, I'm excited to tackle it.
I bring both design-thinking and operational management to the projects I work on. I'm always determined to question assumptions, and keenly focus on elegant results. Enjoy working with designers, developers and engineers smarter than me, value team harmony highly, and invest myself deeply in the well being and growth of my teammates.
When I’m not working, I’m probably doing this: Chasing around my mini humans - Darsh and Aanvi, tinkering with my Royal Enfield, trying to catch up with my book-buying obsession or doing photography. I also enjoy playing the guitar and though I've yet to perfect certain chords, I'm happy to have transitioned from noise to music over the past year!
One day, I will go here: Japan, without a blink. Just love everything about the country, the food, people, temples, technology and architecture. The second on my list would be Leh, Ladakh for its barren panoramic beauty. Someday...
These will always be in my playlist: R.D. Burman, Kishore Kumar, Jagjit Singh, Bryan Adams, Mark Knopfler and Pink Floyd. These are the constants.
I firmly believe: powerpoint decks exceeding 10 slides should be banned.
Lines I live by: You can't connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something - your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life. - Steve Jobs
